The JPG Looks Blurry
First check whether the image is being displayed larger than its exported pixel dimensions. A JPG can look sharp at its intended size and blurry when stretched in a slide, CMS, or page builder.
If the display size is correct, export again at a higher DPI and compare a page with small text or fine lines.
The Source PDF Was Already Low Quality
Many blurry exports come from scanned PDFs. If the original scan is soft, increasing DPI creates a larger image but cannot recreate missing detail.

The File Is Too Large
High DPI and full-page images can create large JPGs. Lower the DPI if the image is only a thumbnail or web preview, and avoid exporting pages that are not needed.
Edges or Text Have Artifacts
JPG compression can create visible blocks or halos around letters and thin lines. If text clarity is more important than file size, compare PNG output for that page.
