How strong are passwords generated by DevME?

DevME uses the browser's Web Crypto API for cryptographically secure randomness. A 16-character password with mixed case, numbers, and symbols has approximately 95 bits of entropy — well above the 72-bit minimum recommended for high-security applications.

Can I customize what characters are included in generated passwords?

Yes. Choose from uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Set the exact length from 8 to 128 characters. All options are configurable and passwords generate instantly.

Are passwords generated by DevME stored or logged anywhere?

No. Passwords are generated entirely in your browser using local JavaScript and are never transmitted to any server. Each generation produces a fresh cryptographically random result.
