How to Keep Formatting When Converting Excel to PDF

Set the Print Area
A print area tells the converter which cells should appear in the PDF. Without it, extra blank columns or unused rows can create awkward pages.
Before converting, select the meaningful range and remove accidental data far outside the table.
Check Widths and Orientation
Wide spreadsheets often need landscape orientation, smaller margins, or adjusted column widths. Shrinking too much can make numbers unreadable.
