What Is DocsMe?

DocsMe is a free suite of browser-based productivity tools for everyday document work. We built it because we were frustrated by the reality of most “free” online tools: watermarks on your exports, mandatory sign-ups before you can do anything, paywalls after three uses, and your private files quietly uploaded to servers you know nothing about.

DocsMe is the alternative we wished existed. Every tool is 100% free, permanently. No freemium tier. No sign-up. No watermarks. And for most operations, your files never leave your browser.

Our Tools

DocsMe currently includes five free tools:

  • PDF ME — Merge, compress, split, convert, edit, sign, and password-protect PDFs in your browser. No uploads to external servers. Trusted by 203,000+ users.
  • Resume ME — Build ATS-ready resumes with 15 professionally designed templates tested on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and iCIMS. Free PDF export. AI writing assistant. Used by 12,000+ job seekers in 40+ countries.
  • ImageME — 21 free image tools: compress, resize, crop, convert formats, remove backgrounds, and more — all processed locally in your browser.
  • ConvertME — Convert between 30+ file formats including PDF, Word, Excel, images, and more. No uploads, no watermarks, no file size limits.
  • DevME — 70+ free developer tools: JSON formatter, JWT decoder, hash generator, Base64 encode/decode, UUID generator, regex tester, diff checker, and more. All run locally.

Privacy by Design

Most “free” online document tools monetize by processing your file contents, injecting watermarks, or capping you at three exports per month. DocsMe is different.

The majority of DocsMe operations run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and modern browser APIs. PDF compression, merging, splitting, image conversion, resume building, and developer utilities all process locally — your files never reach our servers.

For the small number of operations that require server-side processing, files are deleted the moment your download begins. We do not retain, analyze, or back up file contents. We do not sell or share your data. Your documents are yours.
